For those who have not seen me at lace days or lace fairs, I have been painting bobbins for over twenty five years.

I paint both flowers such as orchids and fuchsias but also bobbins with wording and stylised flowers worked around them. You will also see other collections within the catalogue. I specialise in commemoratives for your special occasions, births, marriages, events and anniversaries.

I paint on both on Midland and Honiton bobbins and are mainly supplied by Stuart Johnson of Warwick who many of you will know. Stuart's bobbins are very well made, using good quality wood and 'a joy to use'.

All bobbins are coated with several layers of varnish to protect the design. As they are hand painted, slight variations may arise I do not recommend using bobbin winders as they can damage the bobbins..
